We are
All different, but together create something thought provoking, inspiring and educational.
M.A. Graphic Arts is a challenging and demanding postgraduate programme. Whether creating work in: motion graphics, traditional print, web, publication, photography, illustration, or design for environment, the practices the course looks to foster are marked by important characteristics, such as being analytical, reflective, cross-disciplinary, and underpinned by effective research and creative exploration.
This year's graduates have explored and stretched the discipline with exciting and eye opening outcomes. The group come from across the globe, and have each created a marked influence on each other. They have worked together to explore new possibilities, share different skills and techniques and have all in one way or another become fascinated with the idea of 'culture'. In particular, what 'culture' means and represents to different people in today's society. From Taiwan to Paris, London to Beijing, Switzerland to Bristol - the 2013 graduates of the M.A. Graphic Arts course come from far and wide; both in terms of origins and practice. |
From motion installation to typographical fashion, heritage ceramics to local dialect, food discussion to social media frenzies, visual literacy to illustration of life in Bristol - M.A. Graphic Arts have conveyed it all. Now, it is time to release these works into the public view.
